We collect standard usage and device information through analytics to understand how the site is used.

We use your information to operate the service: to display your public profile and contributions, attribute content to you, keep you signed in, prevent abuse, and improve the platform.

We use a small number of cookies: a session cookie to keep you signed in, and a preference cookie to remember your theme (light or dark). Analytics providers may set their own cookies as described below.

We rely on Google services to run List Overflow, including Google Sign-In (authentication), Firebase (hosting, database, and image storage), and Google Analytics (usage measurement). These providers process data according to their own privacy policies.

5. Public content

Lists, items, comparisons, votes, and your public profile are visible to anyone and may appear in search engines. Do not post anything you want to keep private. Items saved to private lists are not shown on the public homepage or sitemap.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion of your account and associated content at any time.

8. Children

List Overflow is not directed at children under the age required for consent in their country, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
